Has anyone tried Windows 11 with CQC?
#1
I am slowly starting to upgrade the computers I have, has anyone tried Windows 11?  I am running CQC on a Windows Server 2016, and it is starting to have problems because I turned off auto-updating due to an issue with the CQC text to voice on later versions.

Have been on Win11 (pro) for years. Haven't found any issue but then I don't use any TTS or much else of the operating system. I do quarterly Disk image backups knowing any update could give me the Crowdstrike(Blue) screen of death.
The migration to Win11 was Scary as there is no official support for CQC. I think I even cloned a 2nd disk drive to do the upgrade,  just in case I found a showstopper a few weeks after migration and wanted to go back to Win10 by swapping in the old drive. I have to say CQC on Win11 has been rock solid.

Only kludge I do(and not win11 specific) is to bounce CQCWebSrv.exe once a day(via windows task scheduler at midnight) to fix the webriva ipads from hanging every few weeks.(since I have my wall ipads up 24x7x365)

Good Luck.

Thanks, I may set up CQC on a test system to see how it goes.

I did a test using a thin client that had Win11 on it, and it appears to work great, including the TTS part that quit working on WS 2016. I have a few things to work out with my Win 11 installation as I used the WS 2016 setup mainly to backup the 5 computers I have in my house every night. I am pretty sure there are some decent 3rd party systems that will do just that, but something that I will need to address.
